Salems Reviews

Good Omens

According to the Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter - the world's only totally reliable guide to the future - the world will end on a Saturday. Next Saturday, in fact. Just after tea...

Having read both Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman separately, a collaboration between the two has got to be good right? Well, the answer to that is yes. Good Omen's is a good read. Its full of humour and a wonderful twisting tale that I do have to warn you might be a little hard to keep up with. It seems that the book combines Pratchett's habit of switching views with Neil Gaiman's deep dark humour and fantasy creations.

The fact that over the centuries they've reached a short of impasse where its more a friendship that a rivalry - in fact they have frequent lunches together. However there is that strange tension between them and I can see why these two have become the fixation of several slash fan fictions. :D

It is defiantely a book to check out
